Born in Klang,Selangor, Nisha started out in pageants long before acting ever entered the picture, picking up wins like the Miss Malaysia Pancontinental title in 2015.She also made the top 10 at Miss Universe Malaysia that same year, plus a Miss Heritage finish at Miss Earth Malaysia 2014.Her television career kicked off in Singapore with Mediacorp Vasantham in 2015, starting with the drama Ragasiyam. Since then she's built a name for herself in shows like Yaathumaagi, Kavasam, and Uyire, along with English productions on Channel 5 and Malay dramas on Channel Suria. Fans have kept voting her into award wins too, most recently in early 2026,and that's not counting her modelling work, which includes campaigns for Ford,Shell, and KFC.Odd thing is,most actresses stick to one lane, acting or modelling, but she never really did. She's also hosted television, taking on Udhayam Season 5 and an online cooking show called Aha Samayal. Fluent in Tamil,English, and Malay, she studied Physiotherapy at MAHSA University before pageant life and acting took over full time.
Nisha picked up the Best Supporting Actress award at Pradhana Vizha in 2024, and followed that with the Most Popular Artiste title in 2026. She's married to Singaporean actor and director Satyamorthi, and her run from pageant queen to television regular took close to a decade to fully take shape. Her next stop, by most accounts, is Tamil cinema.
